WEBSITE REDESIGN • ST. LOUIS / 01

Website redesign for St. Louis businesses.

A redesign is not a reskin. It is a structural rebuild of a site that already has customers, traffic, and history worth protecting. I keep what works, fix what doesn't, and hand you a site you can finally update yourself.

SCOPE / 02

What does a website redesign include?

Every redesign starts with what you already have: the pages, the traffic, and the parts of the site that are quietly working. Then the structure gets rebuilt around what the business actually needs today.

  • Structure and content audit of the current site
  • Page structure and copy hierarchy reworked, not just restyled
  • Full visual redesign in a calm, modern system
  • Build on Framer, Shopify, or hand-coded, whichever fits
  • SEO migration: redirects, preserved titles, heading structure
  • Handoff walkthrough so you can edit text and images yourself

MIGRATION / 03

How do you protect my existing SEO?

The biggest risk in any redesign is losing the search traffic the old site earned. Every URL gets mapped to its new home, 301 redirects cover anything that moves, and titles and heading structure are preserved or improved. Rankings are checked before and after launch, so traffic carries over instead of resetting.

This is the same discipline I apply at scale in my day work: the Mazda service page rebuild was a redesign under strict SEO constraints, modernized without breaking what the page had already earned.

TIMELINE / 04

How long does a redesign take?

Most redesigns take 3 to 6 weeks from blueprint to launch. The blueprint session happens in week one: one working session that maps what the site needs to do and produces a written plan with a fixed scope. You see real designed pages before anything is built, and launch ends with a walkthrough, not a hand-wave.

SIGNS / 05

Do you need a redesign?

It is probably time if:

  • You can't update your own site without calling someone
  • The site looks dated or broken on a phone
  • You get traffic but no calls or inquiries from it
  • You pay a monthly retainer just to change text
  • You avoid sending people to your website

If your current site has rankings worth keeping, a redesign protects them. If the site is very small or the business has changed direction entirely, starting fresh is often cheaper. The blueprint session settles this in about an hour, and I'll tell you honestly which one you need.
